1. Lived in Orem and Provo Utah; Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Houston, Texas; and El Paso, Texas
2. We have been in 14 states and vacationed in Puerto Rico, Barbados, and the Virgin Islands
3. John completed 3 years of school; I have completed 2!
4. Spent one Christmas with my family, and two with John's.
5. Made countless new friends in our school, work, and church lives, as well as everywhere we have lived. We are so grateful for each and every one of you!
6. Welcomed many nieces and nephews to the family;Stella, Ella, Elliot, Briggs, Gavin, Marco...to name a few!
7. Been through the loss of a parent. Wish I could delete this one off the list, but to say it was a life changing event is an understatement. We miss Mark every day. This really made us realize how precious our families are to us.
8. We've been to/done some pretty cool stuff!! Jet-skied in the ocean (my first time in the ocean was on our honeymoon!), zip-lined in St. Lucia, went to a Nitro Circus show, trip to Nauvoo, both my brother's weddings, a couple of black tie events, movie premieres, Disneyland, road trips, Hare Krishna Color Festival, fireworks at Fort Bliss army base, and much much more!
9. Had ONE trip to the emergency room when John had Viral Meningitis. worst.day.ever.
10. Finally, as a culmination of all these experiences and a lot of learning, we have truly fallen even more in love with each other. Our lives have become so intertwined. He has done and given me so much over the past three years, and I can't imagine where I would be without him.
An anniversary collage; from our wedding day, to our first, second, and third anniversaries. For some reason being married for three years makes me feel older than my other anniversaries did. I have officially been married for a "few" years now. Not one, not a couple, a "few". That's a lot!
As per tradition, we each added a watch to our collection for our anniversary gifts to each other. Here are they are all lined up in order of the year. I love our new watches!!! It's fun to see this collection grow. I love this idea and how unique it is. I am still so excited for the day we have 10, 15, 25, 50 years worth of watches all symbolizing the time we've spent together.
To celebrate this year, we woke up early and went to breakfast, and then got a couples massage. John had never had a professional massage before and he loved it! It was so relaxing and so much fun to do together. We had an anniversary lunch at Kiki's, our favorite mexican restaurant in El Paso, and spent the rest of night at home cuddled up on the couch!
I flew home to Utah today and can't wait to see this handsome guy again. I feel so lucky to get to spend my life with him and for all the memories we still get to make! I'm so grateful to be married and to have been sealed in the temple, so I can be with my sweetheart forever.
Happy Anniversary Babe! Love you!
