Saturday we woke up, got ready and went to the Festival of Colors with friends and about 10,000 other people! The festival is at the Hare Krishna Temple in Spanish Fork, and it celebrates the ending of winter and the start of spring and new life. Everyone buys bags of colored chalk, and they do a big countdown and then everyone throws it! The color was literally everywhere, in the air, on the ground, in your mouth, lungs, clothes, etc! It was incredible. We of course had to take some pictures!...
Becca, Caitlin and I before the madness!
love this picture of us!!!
we got really crazy with the chalk on becca! haha i love you girl.
the madness!!! it was so much worse than this. this is when we got brave enough to get the camera back out ;)

proof that the chalk gets everywhere-nice teeth baby :)
by the time you breathe all that chalk in, you are so ready to go. Bye Krishna temple!
after we "cleaned up" :P ;)
after the second getting ready ritual of the day, we went to my sister-in-law Alaina's birthday dinner. We love Alaina and Brad and their sweet little daughter Adrie :) We went to Texas Roadhouse and had a great time.
My sister Arianne and her family came down for the birthday girl, and after we went to Macy's to look at Easter dresses for her little girls. I went upstairs to just see if there were any good deals, and I just have to say that I found $100 Lucky Brand jeans marked down to $13.20. Did you read that, $13.20!!!! So. Awesome. The fact that they were my exact size and fit like a dream was like the cherry on top of the perfect Saturday :)
Today we went to church, and had a family and friend BBQ at my mom's house. We also got to go to Becca's missionary discussion which is like, the coolest experience every time. I love Sundays these days :)
Hope you all have an awesome week!
Love always, Katie Taylor
