Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off your goal~

Monday.

That day that you dread getting up, for work, school, and sheer responsibility in all its various forms.  I hate this stereotype and try to run from it as often as possible.  So today, I reflected a lot on GOALS and the ones that John and I are successfully taking strides towards, and those we are making for this year.

FIRST:the GYM.  We are loving 24 hour fitness.  We started in this past couple weeks, and have gone 5 days a week.  It's amazing how great you feel when you are working out!  The endorphines are flowing, your heart is pounding, and you know you are working towards bettering yourself.  AWESOME. In truth, making time for the gym has been easy, especially when we figured out there was nothing better we were doing in that hour!

SECOND:the SLEEP TIMES.  Going to bed on week nights has been set to 10:30 p.m.  We wake up at 6:30 so this has given us 8 hours of sleep and plenty of energy.  I am loving making this goal for ourselves!

THIRD: the DINNER.  Week nights, we eat at home.  This has brought us so close together, and we have really been able to expand our intellects to new and exciting things.  John even cooks a couple of times a week!  This gives us a great opportunity to hang out and save money. Tonight we made Cafe Rio pork salads.  They were amazing!

These are just a few things that make me think, I am so happy!  We are progressing and making big steps for us!  Thinking on these things really gets rid of that "case of the mondays" attitude that is so easy to fall into :)

ALsoooo--we made dinner for our neighbors and my brother, his wife and their daughter.  I was looking over at the big pile of dishes thinking "ugh. not dishes!!" when LO AND BEHOLD, a knock on our door.  It was an FHE group, doing service projects, who ASKED US IF THEY COULD DO OUR DISHES.   We graciously accepted :) Seriously?!  Prayers are answered people.

Hope you all have a fantastic week!

Love, Katie and John

That's ridiculous, an FHE group really did your dishes?
